There is new, better lighting in the museum and a delightful Spring garden outside with a bench (2 soon) to sit and admire the view over the Swale.

General Information
Minster Gatehouse Museum is housed in a 1000 year old grade 1 listed building adjacent to the historic Minster Abbey. Local artefacts with connections to the Isle Of Sheppey, fossils and a view from the roof are just some of the attractions. Displays of the beginning of aviation, floods on Sheppey and Dickens' connection to the island are among a wealth of local items in this little treasure house.
