You will work with eco-friendly materials to create your own linoprints. You will take home your carved linocut block, linoprints created from your block and a worksheet which will give you top tips on materials to continue linoprinting at home.
Maximum of 12 people there for the half day workshop. Full Day Workshop 10am - 4.30pm with a 30 minute break at 1pm.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Book for the full day workshop and not only will you create a black and white linoprint in the morning, you will then stay on for the afternoon when you will learn how to add up to two more colour layers to your design using the multi-block technique and hand print colour linoprints. In addition to the blocks, prints and worksheet from the morning, you will also take home your carved colour linocut blocks and colour linoprints created from your blocks. Three colours will be provided. Those taking the full day workshop will agree on the colours collectively on the day.
There is capacity for 6 people out of the 12 to attend the full day workshop. Appropriate for 14 year+. Anyone under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who has also booked a place on the workshop. Tea, Coffee and Snacks will be provided. Please let me know if you have any dietary requirements. Yellow Rose Crafts at the Grain Store Studio is tucked away amongst ancient farmland near Faversham, Kent. It is surrounded by beautiful Kentish countryside.

Drive down the marked drive and when you see the red brick building in front veer left and park in the large car park looking out on the hop field. There is plenty of free parking here. The workshops will take place in the Yellow Rose Crafts space, a converted barn. The barn's front opens out to views of hop fields. The space is used for a variety of crafts including pottery, corn dolly making, basket weaving, and now linoprinting!
