Simon Postgate gives a talk the making of the children’s television programme Baguss - probable the most loved of all the Smallfilms creations - and his surrounding world, with pictures and clips.
Simon Postgate, the son of Oliver Postgate the co-creator of many children’s television classics such as Noggin the Nog, The Clangers, Ivor the Engine, The Pogles, The Pingwings and Bagpuss, is joining us to deliver a short series of talks about the making of these iconic children's programmes. Simon grew up at the time these programmes were being made. His talks are full of entertaining anecdotes, photos, drawings and film clips, bringing everything to life in a unique and personal way.
