Spring is on its way and it's a great time of year to get out foraging in nature! Wouldn't it be lovely if you could create your own basket for your foraging adventures? Well, you can by joining our foraging basket willow workshop.
Willow weaving is a very satisfying and mindful activity and you get to take home a beautiful basket at the end of the day. Upon arrival at 10am, you will be able to partake in a hot drink and snack before we get settled down to the workshop. I will give you a brief introduction to willow and then we will get started on our creations. Hot drinks and snacks will be available throughout the day but you will need to bring your own lunch. We will finish around 4-4.30. Painters Forstal Community Hall is a lovely modern hall in a peaceful setting - a perfect place for weaving willow! The hall is fully accessible and has ample parking. I hope to see you there! Please note that willow contains salicylic acid and may cause an allergic reaction if you are allergic to aspirin.
