Elmley National Nature Reserve on the Isle of Sheppey, in North Kent, is delighted to have received a £206,557 grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund for its community-focused Nature Programme. Made possible by National Lottery players, the project aims to improve, and support access and engagement with local residents of Swale, which includes the Isle of Sheppey and the town of Sittingbourne.
Open all year round for school and youth group activities, including overnight camps. During school holidays we generally run adventure days Mondays to Wednesdays (except when we have pre arranged youth group bookings) for parents to drop off their children for a day of outdoor learning and adventure, then on Thursday, Friday and some weekends and evenings we run hourly family/ small group activities, for a set hourly price you can have up to ten participants taking part in activities such as archery, axe throwing, climbing wall, high ropes, Zipline or any other pre arranged activities that we offer. Our staff are DBS checked and trained/ qualified to run the various activities that we offer to give you a great outdoor experience.
