Background to Table Tennis...
Table Tennis is an activity that is played between individual opposing players know as 'singles' matches, although it can also be played with pairs of opposing players known as 'doubles' matches.
The matches are played using a specifically designed table with markings to show the players, using bats, where to hit a small light weight ball and win points; as with all actitivies there are more rules to help the players enjoy the more.
Table Tennis is an Olympic and Paralympic activity so players are able to compete against the best in the world as well as within their own country.
COVID-19
All activities offered by clubs overseen by a National Governing Body will be required to adhere to new procedures to protect participants. Table Tennis England is working with Sport England to support providers to get back to activities.
