Bredgar and Wormshill Light Railway Easter Rides & Treasure Hunt

A super fun outing to keep the kids busy in the Easter holidays. Enjoy a ride on the diesel train, then take part in the brand new woodland treasure hunt!

Kids Fun: Biscuit Decorating at Macknade

Join Macknade this Easter Holiday for their drop-in biscuit decorating workshops, perfect for budding young bakers! In collaboration with the talented team from Eat & Mess Bakery, your child will decorate a delicious biscuit to take home in a gift box. It's a wonderful opportunity to create a personalised treat - to enjoy themselves or to gift to someone special.

Demelza Easter Trail & Craft Fair

Demelza’s hospice gardens have been thoughtfully decorated to give you a whimsical Easter trail experience. As you wander through their beautiful grounds, you'll come across spring displays, colourful Easter decorations, and some hidden eggs 👀 Find all of the hidden eggs containing letters and unscramble the hidden word to receive your prize!

You can also explore their craft tent and take part in some of Demelza's best stalls, where there's the chance to win some exciting prizes! Local stallholders will be offering delicious refreshments.

Easter at Brogdale

Take part in a trail throughout the orchards to hunt down giant Easter eggs hidden among the fruit trees. Follow the trail map to find all the Easter Eggs to solve the hidden word quiz and collect your chocolate prize.

Hoppin’ into Easter Spring Fair & Bonnet Parade at St Mary of Charity Church & Court Street

Enjoy craft stalls, an Easter Trail, meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy live performances and fun activities, have delicious treats and drinks, and so much more to explore in the beautiful Church and its surroundings.

Show off your springtime style in their Easter Bonnet Parade! Starting at Court Street, you’ll parade through town and finish at the Alexander Centre, Preston Street. Whether you’re participating or cheering from the sidelines, this colourful event is a must-see! All ages welcome to take part in the parade - bring your brightest, most creative bonnet!

Easter Egg Hunt at Belmont House & Gardens

Join Belmont for some Easter fun. Explore their beautiful gardens to find the hidden eggs, each with a letter to help you uncover the secret Easter word and win a tasty chocolate treat. Afterwards, visit the Orangery to unleash your creativity with some Easter-themed crafts.

This year, you’ll also find the Kent Falconry Centre and their spectacular falconry displays on the lawn at 11.30am and 2pm!

Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway – Four Days of Steam

Hop on board the light railway over Easter! There will be an opportunity to pot your own flowers on Good Friday; everything will be provided so all you need to do is draw a wrap for your pot, add soil and the plug plant and you’re done – just be careful with it on the ride home!

There will also be an Easter egg hunt on Easter Saturday, Sunday & Monday – find all the Easter eggs to win a prize.
