There are always plenty of things to do and activities for the whole family in Faversham during Half Term, many with a seasonal Halloween theme or twist. 

Faversham Town Council hope that many will take the opportunity during Half Term to venture to places you’ve never been before and explore all that Faversham has to offer. Participate in Faversham Passport Scheme it is entirely free, no purchases are necessary.

Faversham Passports can be collected from the Visitor Information Centre, 12 Market Place, Faversham, or any participating destinations.

Free half term ‘pig fishing’ offer at Huckleberry Woods! 

Children visiting this October half term can take part in our world exclusive ‘pig fishing’ game.  Fish for your favourite pig with butternut squash as bait.  Will you fish for Bandit the head pig, Huxley Pig, Mr Darcey, little Mini, Rodney Trotter, Maple or Mulberry?    

Then chill out with the rest of the animals, free ranging around their orchard home.  Visit the naughty pygmy goats, alpacas, sheep, miniature donkeys, chickens and turkeys.

Pumpkin Pick Town Trail - Faversham Town Council Event 

Looking for some Halloween fun? Join us for the Pumpkin Pick Town Trail!  

 How it Works: 

  • Pick up your Pumpkin Pick map at the Visitor Information Centre. 
  • Explore the town and locate all the hidden pumpkins 
  • Complete the answers as you find each pumpkin. 
  • Return your completed map to the Visitor Information Centre for a chance to win a spook-tacular Halloween hamper! 
  • Monday 21st October to Sunday 3rd November 2024 

Gather your family and friends and embark on a fun-filled adventure through town! Don't forget your Halloween spirit – costumes are encouraged!

Faversham Annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade – Saturday October 26th 

Calling all furry friends and their humans! Dress up your pups in their best Halloween costumes and join us for a day of fun, frights, and festivities at the annual Halloween Dog Parade!

Spooky Fun at Faversham Pools! 

Get ready for a frightfully good time this Halloween! Our Halloween Party takes place on Thursday 31st October from 2pm - 4pm, and it’s going to be packed with spooktacular surprises, decorations, and plenty of fun!

If you can't make the party, don't worry! We’ve got spooky swims lined up throughout the half-term week:

  • Saturday 26th October: Two inflatable sessions from 12:30pm - 2:30pm & 2:30pm - 4:30pm.
  • Tuesday 29th October: Inflatable fun with a spooky twist from 2pm-4pm
  • Saturday 2nd November: One last chance for Halloween inflatable fun with two sessions from 12:30pm - 2:30pm & 2:30pm - 4:30pm.

Standard Quay Spooktacular Fun Activities - Halloween Trail & Halloween Face Painting  

From the 26th October to the 3rd November we will be hosting a Halloween trial along Standard Quay. Find all the scary items and win a prize! It’s free to play, head to the Vintage and Furniture Barn to collect your playing card and return it once you have found all the spooky pieces and claim your prize!  You can also masquerade into a scary monster or your favourite animal on Sunday 27th October when Cheeky Chops face painters arrive 10-4!  A great way to entertain the kids this half term!  

Papà Bianco has Halloween Movie Nights on, on 3 dates 22nd, 29th and 31st and a Halloween Party on Friday Nov 1st.

Spooky Half-Term Adventure at The Alexander Centre on October 28th, 2024!  

Do you dare to join us for a spine-tingling afternoon of creepy pumpkin carving, fiendish face painting, kooky crafts, and more? Bring your little ghouls and goblins for a hauntingly good time!

Role Play Rascals Halloween Trail  

Join us over the October half term with your little ones for our popular Halloween trail! Collect the spooky items, and pop them in the witch's cauldron whilst chanting some magic spells, small prize at the end! Suitable for children walking up to a maximum age of 7 years old. £8.50 per child.

Half Term Fun at Faversham Recreation Ground 

More half term free fun at Faversham Recreation Ground with Anna Outdoors thanks to Swale Borough Council's Heritage Lottery and Big Lottery funding on Saturday November 2nd . Mask Making Naturally from 12 noon until 2.30pm AND Lantern Festival 3pm – 5pm at the Community Room look out for the Anna Outdoors flag. 

Belmont House and Gardens Family Cooking Workshop | 29th & 30th October, 10am until 1.30pm 

Join Wild Classroom this autumn half term, where you and your family will be able to cook over fire during a half-day workshop using fresh produce from the Belmont Kitchen Garden. 

Typically, on these longer sessions you will have the chance to cook and enjoy 3-4 different dishes mostly using very local and seasonal produce, tummies will be full! 

After the session, you'll have the chance to explore the gardens and enjoy the stunning autumn colours

 Paint brushes and pumpkins at the ready! Get your DIY decorations sorted just in time for Halloween at Macknade’s Kids Mini Pumpkin Decorating workshop on October 29th.
