The perfect time to enjoy all three Faversham Markets in one weekend
Faversham is known as the Market Town of Kings and has been home to a town centre market for a thousand years. The town’s beautiful Market Place and wonderful selection of independent businesses makes it the perfect place to enjoy a spot of shopping. The best time to visit and make the most of all three of Faversham’s regular markets is Triple Market Weekend, which usually takes place on the first weekend of the month.
The three markets comprise:
- Faversham Charter Markets held in the Market Place on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and selling a wide selection of food, drink, clothing, plants and homewares.
- Best of Faversham Market, held on the first and third Saturday of each month in Preston Street. Best of Faversham is a fabulous celebration of local artists, creatives, producers and growers. It’s a popular market for those looking for unique gifts, or items for the home.
- Faversham Antiques Market, held in the Market Place on the first Sunday of each month and specialising in antiques, decorative items and collectibles. Believed to be the country’s largest town centre antiques market, it is a popular market amongst both the antiques trade and the public due to its large selection of stalls and traders.
During Triple Market Weekend, visitors can enjoy both Faversham Charter Market and Best on Faversham Market on the Saturday and then visit Faversham Antiques Market on the Sunday. This weekend is the perfect time to visit Faversham.
